Jobpartners Technology is robust and resilient. Built on strong foundations
Jobpartners ActiveSuite has been developed as a native Internet application using enterprise-standard components at each layer. A standard configuration runs with Red Hat's Linux as the operating system, Oracle 9i as the database, BEA's WebLogic as the application server with components written in Sun's Java J2EE. Our use of open technologies also permits us to adapt to other environments as the core application is written in Java, so is highly portable. More about our Technology Partners.

Scalable and reliable
Using best-of-breed products means we can provide solutions that deliver 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our architecture is designed to scale horizontally, so any layer of the service - database, application or web server - can be expanded to fit requirements. This approach means we can support very large customers without compromising performance. One of our customer's managed services supports over two million job searches a month.
Our high-availability platforms are based around hardware redundancy so a failure in any element does not mean an interruption to service. Database and application server clustering is used in high-usage implementations.
Industry-standard security
Security is embedded in every layer of our technology. We operate hardened operating systems, network firewalls, locked-down database clusters, secured application servers and software level security. This combination of measures is combined with regular external auditing of security to provide a safe and reliable environment including validation of the application security framework. In addition, a programme of regular updates and security vulnerabilities monitoring is employed to ensure any new risks are addressed immediately.
